I was in a vintage mood so I looked up some Beatrix Potter and Holly Hobbie refs and had some fun!
Fallen City
And here’s second drawing which I did last year for Enchanted Forest artbook (first one you can check here). I struggled a bit with this one since I changed concept many times along the way but I’m happy with the final version and after a long time I managed to draw a dragon again. Like usually I’ve used Photoshop and Cintiq 27QHD. Enjoy. :D

So I’ve had this thing in my drafts for some months now, there was Anastasia on TV so obviously my mind worked overtime x) But talking with @mokulule and @kaelinaloveslomaris made me want to bring it out, so here it is! Half-formed thoughts for a Star Wars Anastasia AU, haha.

Context is a bit tricky but basically, the way I see it is Anakin/Vader wins his duel against Obi-Wan on Mustafar, brings Padmé (who is going into labour) to Palpatine so that he saves her. Naturally Palpatine tells Vader he’ll try to help her, but actually drains her life force. Vader notices it and starts duelling Palpatine. While all that goes down, Bail comes to rescue Padmé, but ends up helping her deliver her babies before she dies, and he leaves with both Luke and Leia, whom he doesn’t want to fall in Vader’s hands. Meanwhile Palpatine escapes Vader, who is left with his wife’s body, the certainty that his child was taken from him, and a lot of rage and devastation. He takes over the throne and frantically starts searching the galaxy for his child. Far from there Bail encounters some problems and loses the twins, who are taken in by different people. Or something. I didn’t say this AU was plot-hole free so please bear with me x)
Fast-forward a few years. Luke is nineteen and his job is to race. He’s exploited by his employer, and he wants nothing more than to escape. While grocery shopping, he meets Leia, who’s been raised on the streets, and they discover an instant connection. He tells her how much he’d like to get off planet; Leia tells him she may have an arrangement for him, and to meet her in some abandoned hangar.
Leia then goes back to the Millennium Falcon, on which she lives with her boyfriend and partner-in-crime, Han Solo. She tells him she’s found a guy who looks exactly like Emperor Vader and it might be their chance: for some time, they’ve had their eye on the reward Vader set for anybody who could bring him his lost child, and have been searching for someone who could play the part convincingly enough for them to get the money. Luke comes to meet them, laughs at them when they tell him they think he might be the lost Imperial Prince, but he’s actually taken by the idea. He’s been longing to know his father for a long time, and wants to get off-planet very badly, so he accepts to be part of the plan.
Of course, another character has been biding their time here, and that’s Palpatine. The Sith Lord has been waiting to get his revenge on Anakin, and is delighted when his apprentice comes back with news of a sandy-haired youth he encountered by chance, who seems to be strong in the Force. Palpatine has but one idea in mind: kill him by any means.
So Luke, Han and Leia set off for Coruscant; Han doesn’t fail to notice that there seems to be a connection between Luke and Leia. There are a few setbacks in the form of attempts on Luke’s life that look like accidents, during one of which Luke and Leia accidentally reach out to each other through the Force. At some point, Luke hesitates, reflecting whether it’s fair to inflict the pain of false hope on Vader, because there’s no way he’s really the prince, that’s way too crazy. Leia consoles him and tells him it’s worth a try, a bit embarrassed herself because of how much Luke seems to care - while she knows it’s nothing but an elaborate con.
Finally they arrive at the Emperor’s palace, but Vader immediately sees through Han and Leia’s little business, because so many others did the same. He receives them with the coldest welcome, dismisses Luke without even looking at him and prepares to throw them all in prison. Leia pleads with him to at least forgive the innocent Luke, and he notices the small necklace she’s fiddling with: it’s the japor snippet he’d made for Padmé! He looks at her better and notes how much she looks like his dead wife, how when he pays attention in the Force she seems to have hidden power. He’s overwhelmed, now certain she has to be his daughter.
Luke feels incredibly let down, humiliated, and betrayed when he learns that Leia and Han were only using him to get the money by making him falsely believe he was Vader’s son. When Vader offers him and Han the reward, he proudly refuses it and apologises to Vader for being a fraud before storming out of the room. Leia runs behind him to try and hold him back, and he shouts all his disappointment at her before leaving. She’s shaken.
Luke gets out of the palace, incensed, not knowing where he’s going, when Palpatine catches up with him, cornering him in a dark alleyway and gloating how long he’s wanted to end the life of Anakin Skywalker’s, Darth Vader’s, son. Luke just laughs hollowly at him, tells him that he’s not, he’s just a nobody street rat, but Palpatine insists that oh no, with such strength in the Force he has to be the son of Skywalker. Luke doesn’t understand, but he doesn’t have the occasion to think about it longer, either, because Palpatine is attacking him, and surviving takes all his attention.
Meanwhile, Leia is with Han, upset by Luke’s departure. Han is trying to make her admit her feelings for Luke, which Leia denies all the way because it’s Han she wants. Their argument is interrupted when Leia feels something’s wrong with Luke, who unwittingly called her through their bond when Palpatine attacked him. She and Han rush to help him, but they are no match against the Sith Lord, who notices Luke and Leia’s bond in the Force and figures out that they are twins. He outmatches them all: Han is unconscious on the ground after jumping in front of Leia to protect her from Sith Lightning, and Luke and Leia are about to be slaughtered - and now, young Skywalkers, you will die - when Vader, who felt his children’s distress, arrives and kills Palpatine by taking him by surprise.
There’s a reunion full of feelings with Vader, who is delighted and overwhelmed by the fact he has twins. Han gets medical attention and wakes up, only to have Leia smugly tease him for believing she’d ever leave him for Luke, because she’d told him she wouldn’t and anyway he’s her twin brother, you nerfherder. Then I guess there’s a party, a wedding, and a happy ending.

tbh when Jameela Jamil was calling these celebrities the fuck out and she said “How much money do you need? Really how much money do you need? How much money do any of these huge influencers who are worth millions or billions sometimes… How much more?” i felt that in my bones
When she called the Kardashians “double agents for the patriachry” for profiting off a patriarchal narrative and selling women self consciousness, I felt that on a spiritual level.
